One of the great comics made for the adult scifi audience.
I am not sure what happened to the audience that read this. They were the market that tuned in and bought books like Jim Starlin’s Dreadstar, Mike Baron’s Nexus, Alan Zelenetz’s Alien Legion, Six from Sirius, Star Lord’s appearances in the Marvel Epic line, Bill Manto’s the Swords of the Swashbucklers (creator of Rocket Raccoon), and so on.
The movement toward adult adventure science fiction comics in the 1980s, which produced many of that decade’s great successes of that age, is one of those under-discussed moments in comic history, kind of like when Marvel basically printed nothing but all-women superhero comics in the late 1940s.
