I’m reading a manga right now where a guy is dating a catfish princess disguised as a human and she’s terrified he won’t love her anymore if she reveals her true form so from now on I’m going to tell every single girl I date “wow I love this manga. If my girlfriend turned out to be a swamp yokai or any other form of inhuman creature I would be THRILLED hypothetically” and that way if my girlfriend is also actually a catfish yokai in disguise she will feel brave enough to be open with me and we can get married in her swamp palace.
So…she’s a catfishing catfish princess?
