This lovely striped costume was created by famous costume designer Walter Plunkett.  It was created for
Janet Leigh as Meg March

in the 1949 production of Little Women. The gown was used again in the 1957 Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, where it was worn on Betty Carr as Sarah.
