The Trump administration has withdrawn federal protections for transgender students, but their argument for doing so is based on years of right-wing bullshit. 

Conservatives still can’t name a single instance where these protections were abused. 

I am so enraged by this entire thing. They know there’s no argument to be made, and so they take it down this defamation of character route, implying trans people are child milestones. It’s so disgusting. And when it’s shown to be the vilest, basest prejudice, they don’t think anything of acknowledging that. Why? Because if they get their way, and other people are made to suffer so that they can get their way…they’re fine with that.
